Terms of sale and use
These terms apply to the use of Tehilla Books (tehillabooks.com) and to every purchase of e-books, bundles and reading passes on it. The contract is made with Tehilla Ministry Books, 287C Faulks Road Ariaria Aba (details in the imprint). The contract language is English; a German version of these terms is available.
1. Your account
To buy or read books you need an account. Please give correct details and keep your password secret. New accounts may need approval by our team. You are responsible for what happens in your account; tell us at once at info@tehillabooks.com if you think someone else uses it. We may suspend an account that is misused, for example for sharing files or fraud.
2. Products
- E-books of the author, as EPUB and/or PDF, to read in the online reader and, within the download limit, to download.
- Bundles: several books together at a combined price.
- Reading pass (when offered): online access to all books marked "Included in the reading pass" for the period bought. It does not renew automatically and does not include downloads.
- Free e-books: free books, including public-domain classics, read online at no cost; downloads as described on the book or on request.
The descriptions, samples and the table of contents on each book page show what you get.
3. How the contract is made
The books on the website are an invitation to order. When you click "Place order" (or the equivalent button) you make a binding offer. The contract is concluded when we confirm your order by email or make the e-book available in your library, whichever comes first. Before ordering you can check and correct everything in the cart and at checkout. We store the contract text; your orders and receipts are always available under Account → Orders.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are charged in the currency shown at checkout. Prices shown in other currencies are a guide only. No VAT is charged because the operator uses the small business exemption (section 6(1)(27) UStG, Austria). Payment is by the methods offered at checkout, for example card, PayPal, Paystack or bank transfer. For bank transfers please use the reference shown; we deliver when the money has arrived. Unpaid orders are cancelled automatically after a while. Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash and do not apply to the reading pass.
5. Delivery
E-books are delivered digitally to your library on this website, immediately after payment (bank transfer: after receipt of the money). There is no physical delivery. You can read online on any current browser and save books for offline reading in your browser for up to 30 days at a time. Each purchased book can be downloaded up to 5 times; download links are valid for a short time. Reading online never uses a download.
6. Your licence to use the books
The books are protected by copyright. With your purchase you receive a simple, non-transferable right to read the book for your own personal, non-commercial use, on your own devices. You may not copy, share, upload, sell, lend or make the files available to others, or remove protective marks. Our books show your name as a watermark in the reader. Group use (for example a Bible study group) needs one copy per reader; bundles and gifts make this easy. Public-domain texts in the free library may be used freely; the layout, covers and other additions of our editions remain ours.
7. Right of withdrawal for consumers
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Tehilla Ministry Books, 287C Faulks Road Ariaria Aba, email info@tehillabooks.com) by a clear statement (for example an email) of your decision to withdraw. You may use the model form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your notice before the period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal: if you withdraw, we refund all payments received from you without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day we receive your notice, using the same means of payment you used, unless expressly agreed otherwise; you will not be charged any fees for the refund.
Early end of the right of withdrawal: for e-books (digital content not supplied on a physical medium) the right of withdrawal ends when we begin delivery, if you expressly agreed at checkout that delivery begins before the end of the withdrawal period and confirmed that you know you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (section 18(1)(11) FAGG in Austria; section 356(5) BGB in Germany). Without that confirmation your right of withdrawal remains.
Model withdrawal form (complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract)
To Tehilla Ministry Books, 287C Faulks Road Ariaria Aba, info@tehillabooks.com:
I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the supply of the following digital content (*): ...

Independently of the legal right, if something is wrong with your order, please contact us through Support; we look at every case.
8. Defects
You have the statutory warranty rights for digital content (in Austria the VGG, in Germany sections 327 and following BGB). If a book does not open, is incomplete or faulty, tell us; we will supply a correct file or, if that is not possible, refund the price.
9. Content of the website
Devotionals, blog posts and books are offered for spiritual encouragement and teaching. They do not replace medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. Answers of the AI assistant are generated automatically and can be wrong; for anything important about your order, please contact our team. Links to other websites are provided for your convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
10. What you post
Reviews, reading lists you share and other content you publish must be lawful and respectful and must not infringe the rights of others. You allow us to show it on the website. We may remove content that breaks these rules.
11. Liability
We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law (for example product liability law) provides so. For slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual duties and limited to the damage typical for the contract and foreseeable. These limits do not reduce your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future orders. The terms in force when you placed an order apply to that order.
13. Law and disputes
Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. We are not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, but we are always glad to find a solution with you directly: info@tehillabooks.com.
