Day 13 of 31
Forgive Others
The antidote to offense
Today's Scripture
“But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.”
Opening thought
One of the things you cannot escape in this world is offense. It is a weapon that has paralyzed many homes, families, relationships, and destinies. Offense can come from your parents, friends, children, pastors, or colleagues at work.
The devotional message
Today's quote
When we forgive them, we release them from the captivity of our hearts.

Closing prayer
Father, thank You for forgiving my sins through Jesus Christ. Search my heart and show me anyone I have held captive there. By Your grace, I choose to forgive them today, and I release them into Your hands. Heal every wound that offense has caused, and guard my heart from bitterness. Keep me in Your forgiveness, and help me to forgive as You have forgiven me. In Jesus' name, amen.
