Day 17 of 31

The Right Time

He makes all things beautiful in His time

Today's Scripture

“But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law.”
Galatians 4:4 NLT

Opening thought

One of the most precious commodities on the planet is time. It is so special that you cannot buy it, borrow it, or lease it. Time cannot be stored, stopped, or saved.

The devotional message

Everything Has Its Time

Everything God made came into being in time and is regulated by time. We are born at a definite time; we grow in time; we marry in time; and we also die in time. Time makes all things beautiful. It regulates all things. Without time, man would be brutish. Time also restrains man, because it stops him from advancing his evil without end. Glory be to God, who makes everything beautiful in its time (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

Your Set Time

Beloved, God has a set time for each of us. Today's Scripture tells us that at the right time, God sent His Son into the world. Whatever you go through in life is temporary. Your pains, problems, and perils are only temporary. At the right time, you will see the goodness of the Lord. He makes all things beautiful in His time.

Be hopeful and thankful. Be focused and consistent. Do not let what you are going through blind you to the glory ahead. Our redemption draws near (Luke 21:28). Always rejoice in this: you are a work in progress, and you will shine at the right time.

Closing prayer

Father, thank You for sending Your Son at the right time. Thank You that my life is also in Your hands and that You make all things beautiful in their time. When I am tired of waiting, give me hope, thankfulness, focus, and consistency. Do not let my present pains blind me to the glory ahead. Complete the good work You have begun in me. In Jesus' name, amen.
